Kalshi's gas markets settle on AAA's daily average for a gallon of regular. Here is this morning's number for the US and all 50 states, how it moved, and where tomorrow's market sits.

How these settle

  • One market a day for the US average and each state: "Will AAA's average for a gallon of regular be above $X?", in steps half a cent apart.
  • It settles on AAA's number for that day, published about 7:15 AM Eastern, to four decimals. Strictly above the step is a YES.
  • Trading closes at 11:59 PM Eastern the night before, so the market open now is tomorrow's, and this morning's number is the one to beat.
