How these settle

  • One market per city per day: YES pays $1 if the day's total rain is more than 0 inches, NO pays $1 if it isn't.
  • A trace counts as dry, and so does a missing report.
  • The total is the city's official climate report, as The Weather Company publishes it, from one station: Chicago's is O'Hare, Dallas's is DFW.
  • The day runs midnight to midnight local standard time (1 AM to 1 AM while clocks are on daylight time), and trading closes when it ends.
