About plans and billing

Is there a free trial?: Yes: 7 days of Weather Basic free if you've never subscribed. Checkout takes your card, and the first charge comes when the trial ends. Cancel from the billing page before then and you pay nothing.
Can I cancel any time?: Yes, from the billing page in your account. You keep Weather Basic until the end of the period you've paid for, then go back to the free account. Nothing more is charged.
What's late on the free account?: Only the prices: 30 minutes behind Kalshi and Polymarket. The station's readings, the high so far, the countdowns and yesterday's results are as fresh as on Weather Basic. The models and the history are Basic's.
Where does the data come from?: Prices and settlements from Kalshi's and Polymarket's public market data; station readings from aviationweather.gov's METARs; official highs from the NWS Daily Climate Reports, via the Iowa Environmental Mesonet; forecasts from Open-Meteo. Every number names its source and the time it was fetched.
Does Almanac connect to my Kalshi or Polymarket account?: No. It never asks for your login, keys or wallet, never sees your positions and never places an order. It reads both exchanges' public prices, the same ones anyone can see.
Will Almanac tell me what to buy?: No. It shows the data, the rules and the model's own track record (the market's prices have been more accurate than the model), and leaves every decision to you.
